Once I was a fish within the deep blue sea
Once I was free to do as I please
Curiosity is what did it you see
I just could not let it be
It caught me whatever it was
and now I am sorry
I let my curiosity get the better of me

Poem for 2007

So here it is, a brand new year
With blank pages in my diary, my pen sitting near
I write this poem to make you smile
and make you think of fun all the while
Noah is messing, his toys are thrown,
Around the room and i let out a groan.
There's dishes to wash and clothes to dry
But I'd rather be here, to laugh and to cry
Many a friend I have made sitting here
Had many a good times, an even some cheer
Most of the time, I'm down on my luck
But there's always Lesley saying "cheer up chuck"
Jane is around with tales of the twins
and I'm the fishy one, i even have fins!
Cat is the rational one who makes us see sense
Deb is the quiet one who sits on the fence
Colly is witty, her posts make me grin
Camilla's in the USA but still she fits in
Staci is here, once in a while
And Michelle is our Dorothy... she has lots of style!
Yolanda is the one, who does the hard work
Tries to keep us all posting, including those who lurk!
There's many to mention and you're all here on totz
Now bugger off while i go wash my pots!

My Day

The boys are off school because
of the wind,
how wonderful to hear them all whinge.
Arguing and moaning about the game,
what do I except its always the same.
Its Friday again and time to do shopping,
but id rather be having fun dancing and bopping.
What shall we buy the same old stuff,
I'd rather be buying some thing more lush.
