Katie and Peter are playing 'I Spy'. Follow the finger trail and help Katie
and Peter to find the right words. Guide your child's finger over the finger
trail to help them count the fish. Developed using Katie's experience with
her own children and their different needs, this book is suitable for
children of all abilities. Finger trails help children practise the
co-ordination skills they need for early writing. The bright and colourful
pictures, touch and feel elements and clear text make this a fun and
stimulating book that everyone can enjoy.
Totz2teens Member Review: Katie Price's Mermaids and Pirates
series looks quite sweet. Having the chance to review Let's play I spy
I wasnt disappointed. The books are board style so easy for young
children to hold themselves. We played along as we read and I found my
son being very excited if he knew what the I SPY item was. Seems like
a nice little series.

Knight Time by
Jane Clarke and Jane Massey
ISBN: 978-1-862-30536-6 £5.99
Every night, when their daddies tuck them in, Little Knight dreams of fierce
knight-eating dragons and Little Dragon dreams of dangerous dragon-slaying
knights. But one dark, stormy night, their two worlds collide and Little
Dragon and Little Knight discover that they both have teddy bears and cuddly
blankets - and they're not scary at all! "It's silly to hunt each other!"
they tell their daddies. And so it is. Simple language and powerful imagery
shows up the nature of mistaken prejudices and uncovers the universality of
night-time fears by using characters who are naturally scared of each other.
The result is a reassuring bed-time book with a difference.
Totz2teens Member Review: Both myself and my son
squeeled when we found the little surprises in the book. Brilliant.
The story is of 2 different families - the dragons, and the knights.
We loved that their lives were the same but different in the fact that one
was scared of dragons and the other of the Knights. Knight Time is
really one the loveliest books I've seen in a long time. We both loved
looking at the pictures which are beautiful.

Monster
Blood Tattoo Book one: Foundling by D M Cornish
ISBN: 9780552555876 £5.99
Rossamund has always dreamed of a
career in the Navy, fighting tentacled monsters and rescuing
damsels from hook-handed pirates. But fate has chosen him for a
different path. He is being sent to train as a Lamplighter - to
bring light to the inland roads of the Half-Continent, to shine
the way for travellers through lands peopled by outcasts, monsters
and worse. But for Rossamund to begin his education, he must first
undertake a journey of his own: to the great city of High Vesting.
Such a road is not for the faint of heart. Only monster-hunters,
leers and the most desperate of brigands dare travel the inland
ways unguarded. And all Rossamund carries with him is a battered
almanac and a pocketful of cheap potions. It is unlikely to be
enough. Stunning in scope and rich in detail, alive with memorable
heroes and villains and brimming with new and original science and
magics, D.M. Cornish's tale of scolds, scourges, smugglers and
shrewds will thrill and captivate, and leave the reader desperate
for more.
Totz2teens Member Review:
I wasn't sure about this book at first but once I got a little
way into it I found it was really fascinating and interesting.
It has a good storyline that works well. I found

Sienna. For once, things seem perfect: great girlfriend, great
friends and great place to live. Then Sienna's older sister, Paige

usual Devereux charm with her. She is gorgeous, glam and

Vegas the Malibu crowd jump at the chance and Jason is overwhelmed
by the money, clubs and champagne that flows 24 hours a day. But
when Paige's old boyfriend - Mark Lessard - turns up, things
suddenly get dangerous. Sienna's missing - being used as bait
between Paige and Mark so a deal is made between them. Suddenly
the stakes are very high...
Totz2teens Member Review:
Jason has a vampire girlfriend Sienna
and vampire friends, they don't drink blood and are more like celebrity
kids. Beauty, money and a fancy lifestyle. When Sienna sister returns
unexpectedly from Paris a trip to Vegas is arranged, but her reasons for
leaving become apparent when an controlling ex follows her and turns out to
be from one of the best vampire families.
Fast paced, well written and a pager turned to boost. Really enjoyed this
book and would give it a 4 out of 5. Only disappointment was the lack of
bloodthirsty virgin chasing expected from a vampire novel.

Grizzly Dad by
Joanne Harrison
ISBN: 9780385610193 £10.99
Dad woke up in a grrrizzly mood.
All morning he groaned and grizzled and grumped. And then he went
back to bed! But when I pulled back the covers to see how he was,
it wasn't Dad in bed at all...it was a Great Big Grizzly Bear! I
should have been frightened, but the grumpy look on its face
reminded me of someone...This is the story of how one little boy
looks after a very grizzly bear for the day. He brushes his fur
(and his smelly teeth!), lets him forage in the fridge and then
they zoom into town in a bright red sports car for the best day
out ever! At home they have honey sandwiches and a big bear hug
and when Mum gets home, everything is back to normal. Or is it?
Totz2teens Member Review: Dad's in a bad mood.
Whats a boy to do? Mum is going out and he is left with Dad.
When he wakes him he discovers he has turned into a bear. A
grizzly bear! BUT all is not what it seems and This Bear
manages to give the lad a fantastic boys day out. It was a
fun book to read and my son appreciated it too. He says his
Dad is a bear sometimes too. A lovely book and ideal for
Fathers Day.

truly sorry? And will he really learn the error of his ways and

Totz2teens Member Review: Evil Weasel
was a meany. He gloated in every way possible about his riches.
He was mean to his friends. BUT when he decided to have a party and no
one turned up he got upset and found out the real reason no one showed.
It was because he was Mean. SO he changed his ways and put on a great
party for all his friends. We enjoyed reading this book and looking at
the pictures which were fun. We would be happy to recommend this to
other members as its a nice story.

Totz2teens Member Review: Dewdrop Babies - what a
really sweet set of books. I have been given the opportunity
to review Sweetpea's surprise. Firstly the pictures in this
book are adorable. They are so pretty and glittery. My
daughter loved them and they were great for running your hand over
too. The story is about a little caterpillar and the journey
it takes to become a butterfly. We found the story pleasant
and informative and we thought the dewdrop babies were very sweet
indeed. The combination of story and the beautiful pictures
make these a great collection of books.
