Totz2teens Member Review: I found this book very useful.
It is a small handbag size book which is ideal to read a page at a
time. The layout of the book is clear and consise. Each
page comes with an idea for you to carry out One area I
found interesting was the High Flyers one. This was interesting
because I hadnt really thought of asking my child for their advice.
Once I had I could see how pleased and grown up he felt. It was
only what earings should I wear but when he saw i was wearing them he
told his Daddy that he had chosen them. I liked this.
Definately the sort of book that you can pick up for ideas at
different times.

totz2teens sent me this book for reviewing I was over the moon. Some
of it was common sense but I think I needed the book to give me the
motivation to ensure I was 'doing it right;. It wasnt a book full of
recipes but more of a book that gave simple ideas to encourage you to
develop your childs nutritional intake each day. Interesting reading
so thank you.

Totz2teens Member Review: We are finding this book very useful
indeed. Although not our first pregnancy we are still being reminded
and enlightened. I also found my partner having a read too which is
great. A wealth of informative but easy to understand chapters ranging
from the start of pregnancy right through to going back to work. The
book covers the good and the bad parts of pregnancy and this was useful too.
The quote I must highlight was the note to expectant fathers - " be warned,
your partner may need more pampering during her pregnancy!

Review: This is not a recipe book but a book that gives helpful
information including information regarding E numbers and the content of
food labels. There are some recipes which were very useful and the
chicken nuggets went down well. This was a refreshing book that did
not feel pushy. It was very positive about teaching you, the parent,
about healthy eating in an easy manner without making you feel like a
sinner.

Dosani & Peter Cross
ISBN: 978 1904902 058 £9.99
Raising children is one of the most important and rewarding
things you can do in life. It can be challenging, even maddening, but if you
get it right it is one of life's great experiences. If you are looking for
some ideas for successfully bringing up children, this book's for you. These
52 brilliant parenting ideas have been road-tested and refined in the
laboratory of life and will help you and your children get more out of
family life and help your children enjoy their own lives more
Totz2teens Member Review: One good idea
can change your life. 52 amazing chapters discussing many topics
relevant to a parent of a pre-teen. This is a thorough guide for those of
children of primary school age. Questions and answers to help solve
those little nagging questions that often crop up such as sex, friends,
shopping.
I've not had to experience all the subjects in this book YET but I am sure
that they will arrive as quickly as my daughter is growing up fast. I
liked that in this book you may be reading about one idea and then it refers
you to another idea so that you can pair them up and work everything to a
smooth result. Hopefully.
I would recommend this book to parents because it is full of useful and
thought provoking ideas.

Raising teenagers
52 brilliant ideas for high-performance parenting by Lynn Huggins-Cooper
ISBN: 978 1904902 386 £9.99
Raising teenagers
helps parents to properly understand what is going on in their teenager’s
life. Lynn Huggins-Cooper reveals some tried and tested ideas and techniques
to both pre-empt problems and deal with flashpoints. The road-tested ideas
in this book will help parents overcome just about any issue. And no matter
how bad you think it is, take a deep breath and repeat the mantra: there is
no such thing as a perfect parent; these teenager years will pass. Remember,
however hard it is to raise a teenager – it’s even harder to be one!
Totz2teens Member Review: Having a teenager is new to me.
I know that it comes up very quickly and I can still remember my own teenage
years. However dealing with a teen puts parenting into a whole new
category. I needed this really clever and helpful manual. Set
out as 52 brilliant ideas it means that it can flit between different
subjects. Words of wisdom in one book. This book helps move out of the
negative spiral that seems to overhang the house and on trying a number of
the ideas I do feel more positive. My teen appears to be more willing
on some occasions which has made the whole household just a little easier.
I will be keeping this book next to my bed so that I can have a quick
reminder all the time and try different ideas as the weeks go by. The
implications of my actions on reading this book are obviously working as we
are able to hold a nice conversation without complete negativity all over
us. A small cloud has been moved over. (not lifted yet but moved
just a little to the left. I am happy to recommend this book to those
of you with teenagers or almost teens as this has some valuable information
in.

Get into bed
with Google by Jon Smith
ISBN: 978 1905940 493 £8.99
It’s all very well having a Flash intro and lots of
features and functionality that can ‘wow’ your audience on every single page
of your website. But what if they can’t find you? What if you’re not visible
on the main search engines, and on Google in particular? Making your site
‘Google Friendly’ or employing Search Engine Optimisation techniques (or SEO
as it’s known in the trade) should be a priority – if you don’t rank on
those results you may as well not have a website at all – it’s that serious.
Totz2teens Member Review: Get into bed with Google is a
fantastically useful book. The style means the reader can pop in and
out whenever they like. I found it ideal to carry in my handbag and
read when I had five minutes. Each section has a "Heres an idea for
you" at the end which I found incredibly useful and easy to follow. Ok
being a woman and trying to design a successful website isnt easy. I
hold my hands up I have no knowledge nor experience. This book helped
loads. I actually didnt feel like I was drowning. Above all it
made sense. I have already actioned some of the ideas and will
continue to do the rest as and when I get a chance. I would definately
recommend this book to anyone trying to produce a website. I feel my
knowledge base has been enhanced by this book because of the way it was
written. It isnt a daunting book. Its a fairly small book so
easy to carry and the layout flows nicely too. Get into bed with
Google is now a bible of mine.
