Following its launch last spring, In the Night Garden and its colourful
toy characters - Igglepiggle, Makka Pakka and Upsy Daisy - has quickly
become a preschool phenomena.
News has reached the Hasbro Press Office of an ever-growing In the Night
Garden celebrity fan base comprising not only celebrity offspring but
their famous parents too!

presenter, model and mum, Myleene Klass says her daughter Ava just
“loves Upsy Daisy and Igglepiggle”. Little Ava is also a fan of one of
the top Christmas toys for this year. “The Upsy Daisy in her Chase and
Play Bed was the perfect gift for Ava,” says Myleene.
Geri Halliwell’s daughter Bluebell can’t get enough of the unique
programme, Geri says she “loves In the Night Garden and playing with her
In the Night Garden toys.”
Singer and new mum Jenny Frost said that when she arrived home with a
basket of In the Night Garden toys, DVDS and books for her little boy
Caspar, she “was very popular as he just loves Igglepiggle!”
Another big fan of the show is TV presenter Kate Garraway’s young
daughter Darcy, who is “obsessed” with In the Night Garden and “wants to
watch it morning, noon and night. We can’t even say ‘Lets go into the
garden’ to her because she just starts screaming Night Garden, Night
Garden, until we put it on!” says Kate.
Emma Bunton’s son Beau is also said to be a big In the Night Garden fan,
as well as the daughters of Nancy Sorrell and Alex Curran who all love
the show and the toy range.
